The MCU also has a Thanos variant, as hinted by Loki episode 4. The ongoing MUC series in the franchise introduced the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to prevent another multiverse war that preserves the Scared TimeLine. Through the organization, the concept of variants was also established.

The Loki shows appropriate deals with Loki variants. The other variant of the trickster has also been revealed by the series aside from the character who escaped during the New York leg of the Avengers: Endgame time heist. In episode 2, the agent Mobius M. Mobius said that they’ve purged and encountered many Lokis, including Tour De France Loki and Viking Loki, among others. After many discussions, it’s been confirmed that Sylvie, too, is a female Loki variant. Loki episode 4, the post-credits scene, introduced a string of new variants such as crocodile Loki, Boastful Loki, Kid Loki, Old Loki.

But while the ongoing Disney+ show’s storytelling mainly focuses on Lokis, the God of Mischief is not the only notable MCU character who has variants. At the beginning of the show, a Skrull variant was being booked at the same time as the God of Mischief was going through the same process. Of this idea, this has only been the visual confirmation so far. Mobius mentioned in Loki episode 4 that they have also arrested Titans, vampires, Krees. Krees are the aggressive people of Hala, and Captain Marvel was introduced correctly. Titans could hint that in the past, the TVA also had to deal with a Thanos variant.

As per the comics, the purple villain is from the planet Titan. Avengers: Infinity War used the destroyed world as the backdrop of Thanos’ fight with some Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, New York-based heroes. Once prosperous and growing, Titan suffered from overpopulation which quickly diminishes its resources, resulting in life forms be extinct and Thanos being its only survivor. The mad Mad Titan will have variants; it is not hard to imagine. He becomes fully committed to the cause which he decides upon. What he wants to achieve will do everything in his power.

The Loki series also shared that while guilty variants are mostly purged, some of them are reprogrammed and brainwashed to be members of the TVA.
